As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect our daily lives, we want to acknowledge that these are unchartered territories for the world, and the Pregnancy Support Centre of Westman is not excluded from that.

As we do our best to navigate these anxious times, we want you to know that we are here for you and your family. We have been providing services to Westman for 35 years and we will continue to do so while we ensure the safety of our clients and staff. We have instructed our volunteers to stay safe at home until further notice.

The province announced that Phase 1 of re-opening will begin on May 4, it will involve the resumption of some medical services and the reopening of some non-essential businesses, with restrictions in place.

We have continued to serve our clients through pick up or drop off of supplies and utilizing technology for counselling. We will continue in this manner over the next few weeks, gradually opening our care closet to clients and will resume face to face counselling when it is safe to do so.

The health of our clients, volunteers and staff will continue to be our focus.

We have implemented the following to ensure we continue to serve our clients and others in the community:

Please call or text 204.727.6161 before coming to the centre. At that time, you can let us know what you need and we will have it ready for you to pick up.

We are blessed to have a supply of diapers, wipes and formula (not all kinds) to assist those families who need a helping hand during this crisis (our services are free).

Please contact us if you need to talk, know that you are not alone, we are here to support moms and dads with little ones at home. Please call 204.727-6161 make sure to leave a message if we don’t pick up immediately and we will call back asap or text us at the same number.

We have hundreds of on-line classes available for you ranging from pre-natal classes, newborn information to toddler milestones.

We will start opening our care closet as soon as we can. We will start receiving donations once again on May 4th. Please call ahead.

If you are sick or have returned from outside of Canada, we ask that you not come to the centre in person.

Your continued support and prayers help us help others during this time and from the bottom of our hearts we say thank you!

We are often the first step in a woman navigating her pregnancy decision. Although we provide valuable and up-to-date information on pregnancy, parenting, adoption and abortion.
The Pregnancy Support Centre of Westman does not provide or assist in arranging for abortions.
